There are two main types of entities that sell VoIP Phone Service 
VoIP Providers and Resellers.

Providers, own or lease and run the VoIP infrastructure or asset

and Resellers have existing customer bases
to whom they sell VoIP Phone Service on behalf of an Operator

IT Providers or old type Phone System Suppliers, are examples of Reseller types
Most Resellers were overtly or blindly selling Blueface
and now need to move, so watch out!
ASK COMREG
 Not speaking for them but, Comreg the regulator will oversee the  outcome with Blueface. We have seen this in the recent past. So there is no need to panic.
A well managed Blueface migration

would create a vibrant Irish VoIP market
and a perfect start to the end of ISDN
encouraging all other businesses to move to VoIP.

We need to avoid the possibility of an Operator or Reseller becoming overwhelmed in this process.

Blueface customer direct

You are being billed directly by Blueface.
Ensure that you have a recent bill from Blueface.
Porting ETA in normal circumstances  takes 2 to 4 days.
Speak with more than one provider, you may get a communication from Blueface, check with Comreg .
Some VoIP Phones can be reconfigured, but in our experience not the Panasonics and may God forgive the Polycoms.

Far from the end this could very well be the real beginning of Blueface as Comcast assimilate it into their home USA business,
 turn a profit and blow their Irish Resellers out of the water. My guess for  those customers left here, they would be supported by Comcast (check it out)and billed in US dollars. Other USA VoIP providers operating here, such as GO TO are already billing in dollars. 
Considerations for Resellers moving to a new provider

Putting all your eggs in one basket is never a good idea.

Testing the water with a few different providers may cause unforeseen issues and conflicts of interest.
Distributing your business in the same way an insurance broker will distribute their business to the most suitable insurer for each particular customer,
may be the way forward.
beware of geeks bearing gifts
Don't jump from the frying pan to the fire
Get beyond the flashy website and 1st result on Google, that is usually the dearest and the worst option. 
You should view your VoIP Phone Provider as someone on your monthly payroll, your telecoms department always available to ensure your system is working at its best.
